Shadowthrone, I know you don't like CA style personal insults and abusive smack talk. Here is a guy apologising for doing that. I think your comment is counter to the general philosophy you have previously expressed. Just because he has joined your enemies doesn't devalue the gesture for contrition for previous mistakes and poor behaviour.

Good heavens CA nooblets get a grip! The guy has said his piece and made an apology, let it stand without filling this thread with nonsense and bile and froth. I find it quite amazing just how much bitterness and angsty numptitude tends to come from Curse over these issues. One could almost believe that you chaps aren't actually enjoying your little reactionary mineral cartel sometimes. From what Sochin has said about the reasons for his being ejected from VOTF it simply sounds like you guys are too authoritarian for his chosen taste. If he wants less structure and a bit more fun then its his choice and he should be able to make it without a tirade of venomous backbiting and frothing rantage.
And for the record I still think that if somebody wants to make an apology for doing something they consider to have been out of order and beyond the pale then that decision should be respected and appreciated for the adult gesture it clearly is.
Only idiots twist the knife when a chap tries to do the right thing.

I have been literally disgusted at the antics of several of your members in the past and they certainly don't do you or your alliance very much credit. In fact I would go so far as to say that a large percentage of the negative press and broad dislike for your political entity stems from exactly this kind of schoolyard bravado by pseudo anonymity and tasteless rubbish talking as defacto comms standard.
If there really was a no smack policy then you have several members that need kicking out of your corp on the evidence of this thread alone.
